The Communcation System has been developed to be your RETAIL COLLABORATION CENTRE.

It is what makes us a community. We can send & receive messages to and from each other.

We can start topics for debates. Just start a conversation - we're listening.

Click on the links and the tabs - don't be afraid, nothing will break.

There is an AMAZING feature which allows you to:

  1. Send private messages to other members.
  2. Start a Sub-group where only nominated people can participate in a 'closed forum'.

As our membership grows and we have sub-groups (say shopping centre marketers, or newsagents) then certain mailings and posts will be for that special interest group only.

Thanks for reading. This is the second email you receive in a month – and it is MEMBERS-ONLY. Enjoy.

This month we are making a few radical changes to Retailsmartresults.com. We have been quiet because we have (1) relocated our home and our business (2) serving clients (3) doing some background work for these changes – and we are really chuffed to announce the following BIG changes:

ONE

Effective immediately, ALL MEMBERS will have access to ALL PRIVILEGES. In addition to what you will have been able to try out, you can now also use the following applications:

Audio / Video Postcards: Send video emails (if you have a webcam) to anyone

File Sharing: Upload and download documents – share your knowledge and learn from others.

Video / MP3 Gallery: Upload and download videos/podcasts

You must go and try the AV postcards out – it is really cool & you can send it to non-members too.

(Eventually we will have to fund these services, but we can guarantee that it will be free for at least the next year.)

TWO

We will post video updates and cool links to retail/marketing insights on the members-only page (usually) on a weekly basis. (Not this week – we just want you to try out the new servicesJ)

This way we will keep these emails short and you can just visit the site with one click when you have time.

And lastly, for the site to be really effective, we need ACTIVE members. You may not think you could do it or want to do it – but EVERYONE has a contribution to make. It would greatly be appreciated if you could invite your colleagues, employees, suppliers and everyone who has a professional interest in retailing to join up.

If not this, then at least let us know what you like/dislike so that we can improve the site for YOU!

RetailSmart Results group is our labour of love and we really want to help raise the bar in the world of retail by providing the platform for retailers and professionals to communicate, share and learn!
