1.0 Introduction 

In the past two decades,with the development and applications of communication and information technology, retail has been driven into one by one new eras, such as the barcode adopt into retail a few decades ago and the Internet has been used in the past ten years. Now today, customer still can see the application of internet and barcode not only in some shopping centers or supermarket, but also in a number of boutiques or shops. However, with the higher demanding for managing item, cost saving and service, the traditional methods cannot march these requirements. For instance, according to the 2006 annual survey researched by the University of Florida, lack of inventory visibility cause retailer industry lost more than $42 billion; theft cost retailers over $30 billion per year and are reach more than 1.5% of overall sales. For these reason, Radio-frequency identification (RFID) is tested and adopted for tracking item, maximizing sales opportunities and enable that the right product is on the shelf and offer for the customer on time. Nowadays, Radio-frequency identification (RFID) has been largely used in retail and become a major trend for retail companies or their suppliers to facilitate the tracking and operation of physical products.
