Totally agree that mobile retail could have a huge impact on the retail sector. The ability for phones to get easy and fast internet access is one point. Besides that the integration capabilities are enormous. It has already been seen through social-sites such as Facebook along with new technological mobile phones like the iPhone. The amount of third party applications and it's increasing functionality could prove as a vital sales/marketing tool for retailers in the future. In the service sector (airline industry), companies like AirAsia, Malaysia Airlines, are allowing their customers to book flights online.

It would definitely be interesting to see how we would be using the mobile phone as a retail tool in the near future! Good luck with your report!
