This includes 10 formal qualifications (no kidding) and Dennis still teaches part-time to the MBAs at a leading Australian Business School. Occasionally the video editing might be a bit 'squeaky', but the content and the application is world-class and, running the risk of immodesty, most likely best-in-class. BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY, it also means that when you embark on a learning journey with us, we are in it because it is our passion, and it is not just for the money. And we haven't launched an internet site with a few slapdash e-course aiming to milk the market for a few bucks because we have an email list of 25000 suckers. Our programs are for real people running real businesses - and we are simply using the internet is a delivery platform. As we launch the site, we roll out a program that will immediately make a difference to your business: Sell$mart (the psychology of retail selling) and soon to be followed by an impressive array additional courses.
All of these programs exist, we are simply phasing them in as we convert them to a format that is suitable for an online environment. We are not doing it all at once, because we also hope to incorporate your feedback. And if demand dictates otherwise, we will change the schedule to give you what you want. This site is NOT about promoting us and our products, it is about providing the members with the best possible value - including a range of options.] We currently provide training/coaching services to some (actually one) of the world's largest organistions, as well as several blue chip Australian organisations. But we are equally proud to serve several single-site clients; that is how WE keep learning. Our average satisfaction rating in our offline programs is 92% - but we have scored as high as 98% (there is always one who won't give you full marks, right?) There is an awful lot written about US, but that is simply to give you some comfort about who and what we are. This is really about YOU. I once was told that to discover the ROOT CAUSE of a problem, you have to ask 'why' five (5) times. When I do that, I almost invariably find lack of skills as the root of every problem. Is there anything you would like to change in your organisation? Do you think you need more capital? How much would you benefit if your finance manager knew all the ins and outs of obtaining tax-effective finance? Do you think you need a new fitout? How much value would a skilled & knowledgeable designer add as opposed to one that can just draw pretty pictures. Want to sell more? The answer to all these question is always the same: good training. (in our book good training is just training that works.) In today's competitive world, the only sustainable competitive advantage is truly your people, and not their 'humanity'; but their skill as employees and managers. Training is not a cost, it is an investment and it is one of the smartest things you can do to build competitive advantage. We are the first to admit that we are not experts at everything. You won't see much about team building or leadership for instance. Our expertise in those areas is on par with the average. We want to focus on the things we are really good at. And finally, in retail the high staff churn means either you don't bother with training, or you need to find a way of doing it quickly AND cost-effectively. We are the first to admit that good face-to-face training is likely to be somewhat more effective than online training. But online training is quicker and less expensive, and it is better than 'average' face-to-face' training - and most importantly, it is a A LOT BETTER than not doing any training at all. Online training is fast becoming the only viable alternative, and we will provide you with the best we can. There will be no silly games, no tricks to play with the mouse to keep you entertained. No flashing wizards, bouncing balls and whooshing sounds. What can you expect?
